We were ill and could not attend the service as planned. Our condolences to all of the Mitchell family. Bill remembers well that Charles was the Indian River School District Board member who thanked him for his years in the District as a principal. Charles was the school board person who interviewed me for my first music position in 1969 at Sussex Central Junior High School. It was informal but thorough; we were standing in the gym hallway while the basketball team was winning a game inside. So many contributions to Millsboro and public service, including consistent support for the Possum Point Players during the past 45 years. You will be remembered and missed.
