Obituary of Mrs. Cynthia Truitt Robinson:
"Cindy"
Cynthia Truitt Robinson, 60, passed away in the loving care of her family and the staff of the Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford, DE on January 5, 2017. Born in Lewes, DE, on October 5, 1956, Cindy was the daughter of Arthur C. and Helen M. Truitt, and the wife of Manaen S. Robinson III, her spouse of 24 years. She was an accomplished educator, earning both her bachelor's and master's degree in education. She retired from the Seaford School District in 2004 after 27 years of service. Cindy was fun and outgoing, known for her infectious laugh and warm spirit. Cindy was an active member of Carey's United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed crafts, Civil War reenacting, camping, entertaining friends and family, and spending time with Manaen and their dog, Sugar.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Cindy is survived by two children: Manaen Robinson, IV and his wife, Cara, of Dagsboro; and Megan Moore, of Dagsboro. She has four grandchildren: Brayden and Cole Robinson; and Tyler and Kaylee Moore. Cindy is also survived by her sister: Bonnie VanBuskirk, of Frederick, MD, and her nephew and nieces: Joshua, Chelsea, and Brianna VanBuskirk.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 14 at 1:00PM at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE, with Pastor Dennis Derr officiating. Friends may call one hour prior, from noon until 1:00 PM for visitation with the family. Interment arrangements are private.
