For you Frank and Kay. I met Him in Turkey(USAF), as he was assigned to "C" Co., for "ELINT" collection, 1 Mo. after me. He played Softball, and BB, for our squad. He was a fun Beer drinker, and he joined me and 2 others for a week ski vacation on the only Mt. in Turkey. We both learned to play "Bridge" there and drink German beer. He would sometimes ride along with me and 4 friends during our 4 day breaks, viewing countryside and Historic sites with in hours of our Base site. He talked a lot, was funny, but He was "Tough", and talked a lot about his PA. Family. From Turkey, we both got sent to JAPAN, Northern most tip of Hokkaido Island, cold and snow, snow more snow. Great tour for E. Collection, and good Japanese Beers. He was my roommate, and he talked a lot, and told me about his Family, prior employ, and fun with Al Mass(Shannahan). Said he had a Sister I would have to meet(I guess he was talking about (Kaye). I was discharged 1 Mo. before him, home to (OHIO-Go Bucks), and a mo. later, he came thru Ohio from Cal. driving a Thunderbird, to deliver to NYC. Stayed 1 night, I went with him, to drop off (Pay to deliver), by following him in Kaye M.'s car. Had met his Family, and Kaye, the day before. Stayed at McClatchy home for a while, and got to visit the Jersey Shore, for first time(yes-yes), with Al M., and always stayed with Ann Coachers. He was like a Brother hunted together, fished, golf, carpet, beer, Bridge Partner, against 2 Kays. He was a tough Man, good heart and Father. I am sure he is talking his ''shit" up there, and bet some are listening. Have a "Safe Trip''' my Brother. Larry R.
