To George’s Family and Friends,
I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to you all on the sudden passing of George. I know the loss of a brother, a friend, and someone so full of life and determination leaves a void that words can hardly fill.
Though George and I often had our differences, we shared twelve years of marriage that were filled with meaningful moments, mutual respect, and common interests. We were partners not just in life, but in the small joys too—especially the deep love we both had for our Maltese, who truly felt like our baby.
I always admired George’s can-do spirit and his ability to get things done with focus and determination. He taught me many valuable lessons throughout our years together—things I carry with me to this day.
Being there with him in his final moments and feeling helpless to prevent his passing is a pain I carry deeply and personally. That moment, and many others we shared, will remain etched in my heart.
Despite the challenges life brought us, we always managed to hold on to a quiet care and love for one another that never faded, even after we divorced. I take comfort in the memories of our time together, and I hope you too can find peace and strength in the moments and memories you shared with him.
With sympathy and warm remembrance, Debra Caldwell
