I am so very blessed to have the opportunity to know such a sweet, kind, loving yet strong, courageous and innovative woman such as my Aunt Helen! Though our introduction in person was brief back in 2002 I was able to know her through my Mom who admired Aunt Helen. Mom would show me Aunt Helens artwork and all Her innovative creations throughout the years, and my Dad who always kept in touch with Aunt Helen and His other sisters by phone would come to my Shop on Fridays for coffee and share their wonderful conversations. He sure loves all of His Sisters! Dad was in the Hospital here in Lubbock TX when the news of Aunt Helens passing came to Him from my Brother Sonny. It was very sad - Dad doesn't cry not even under extreme physical pain, but the news broke his heart and Dad cried in that moment. Dad is recovering from remnants of double pnuemonia at the nursing facility and we are praying He will be able to come home soon. He is weak but his Faith is strong. Dad knows that His hope of seeing His sister will indeed happen when He joins up with all our loved ones, including my Mom, who have left this world but because of their faith in and love for Jesus they are now in the mansion of our Great Creator Heavenly Father Jehovah Jireh El Shadia Elohim. Our Saviour has made it possible to never die, not even by death to this world, instead through Jesus we live life - and live it more abundantly. We love you Aunt Helen - and we shall see you again in a new body transformed into light of the spirit. We love you all.
