John was a kind soul who made everyone feel loved and respected. He welcomed me to the AP universe when I was just beginning my work at the Readings, and became a mentor and a model for me, and I know, for many others as well. His love of Argentina and the "parrilladas" was infectious, and we celebrated many a meal together. He will be missed. I keep him and Barbara and their family in my heart.
John was a dear heart who kept everyone smiling while we worked on grading AP Spanish exams. He held us to the highest standards while working but never missed a chance to have good times afterwards. His spirit will be missed.
