I fondly remember Ms. Joyce from our days of employment at the Atlantic Sands Hotel. She was an excellent housekeeper and I was a young bellhop. She always made me smile. Ms. Joyce and her co-workers, many of whom were her family members, made me feel welcomed, special … and that I truly belonged at the Atlantic Sands. It was such a pleasure to work with people like Ms. Joyce! Pep Godfrey, whose mother & father were part-owners of the hotel, informed me of Ms. Joyce’s passing beyond the “Rainbow Bridge”.
