Patty and family. So sorry to hear about the loss of your husband, Joe. I remember all the things he did when we worked together at DVH. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Remember the fond memories you have of him to meet each new day. He would want you to carry on with a smile. RIP in heaven as another angel has been called home.

To Patty and all of Joe's family, There just aren't enough words to express the sadness I feel with the loss of Joe. Joe had an infectious smile. All you had to do was take one look at him, see his grin and you caught it. Joe truly was a family man and Patty, you were surely the love of his life, as he was also yours. Where there was Patty, there was Joe and vice versa. My Nursing career was made just a tad more colorful for having known Joe thru Patty. One of the highlights was when Joe married Patty again at their "Hillbilly Wedding" at MMH and I got to help prepare the Honeymoon Suite. I can truly say Joe loved Patty's Nursing family of both staff and Residents and was always available to do what was needed for any of them. I know that Joe continues to smile as he watches over all those whom he loved and cherished so dearly. Patty, you knew love with and through Joe, and in the end, that is what matters.
