Robert William Zinszer's Obituary
Robert William Zinszer, age 89, of Gumboro, Delaware, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. He was born on April 18, 1937, in Upland, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Ralph and Anna E. (Gentsch) Zinszer.
Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family. He worked many occupations over the years, including as a truck driver, bus driver, retail manager and poultry grower. No matter the job, Robert approached his work with determination and pride.
Above all else, Robert cherished his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed spending time with those he loved most.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his son, Eric Zinszer; and his siblings, Ralph, Anna Mae, Herbert, Bertha, and William.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maryann Zinszer; his children, Mary Alice Kozlowski, Robert Zinszer, Jr. (Ester), Michael Zinszer, and Terri Soukup (David); his siblings Joyce, Gladys and Walter as well as numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Lawn Croft Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1000 W. Ridge Rd, Linwood, PA 19061.
