Dear Wescott Family:
Be it resolved, on this Lord’s day that we the Classmates and friends of Stephany come to celebrate with you the life and memories she leaves to share with us all. Also, praying that God will impart wisdom to you in your decision making, solace in your walk, and hope in the midst of family and friends. Sovereign God, maker of all things, we are proclaiming your promises to walk with them through the valley of the shadow of death and lead them by the still waters as you use your sword and staff to comfort them. Grant them endurance, blessing them abundantly with the comfort of your love. God cares about your grief and is close to the brokenhearted and rescues those whose spirits are crushed. (Psalms 34/18. He will catch every one of your tears that fall and keep track of your sorrows. He will even collect them in a bottle and record each one in a book. (Psalm 56/8
Dear Heavenly Father, bless those who are in pain showing them how your tender care will never fail them beyond the sadness, hope waits with outstanding arms. Whereas, not even an earthquake or crumbling mountains and chaos in the world around you will prevent you from his love. So, stand still and see his Salvation. It may not feel like it when you are in the midst of such grief but God sees your pain, and will cause everything to work together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8/28. We are praying that his word will comfort you in your longest hours, because that is when God’s love touches us, holds us in the psalms of his hands and prepares us to move through darkness and into a steadfast light.
In conclusion, life scatters seeds but her memories will bloom forever as life will have thorns, but a life without them will not produce roses. Whereas grief is like the ocean, it comes in waves. Sometimes the water is choppy and overwhelming and all we can do is pray. Therefore, family we pray through this journey he will be your refuge, rock and pillar of strength.
Lovingly and affectionately submitted this another day god’s has made so we rejoice and celebrate our beloved classmates legacy with love.Sleep on classmate, sister and friend in his holy name.
